Qualification : M.Sc.. Degree in Coastal Disaster Management / Disaster Management / Geology with minimum of 55% marks and UGC NET. ii) Ph.D in the Coastal Disaster Management / Disaster Management / Geology. Preference will be given to Ph.D.. candidates. iii) Not withstanding any contained in sub- classes i) and ii) to this classes candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted front the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET /SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in University/College/ Institution as Per UGC. iv) NET/ SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master's Programme in discipline for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted
